No, the main door to the room remains unlocked and you are free to step out at anytime. Please keep in mind that your clock does not stop.
2) WILL I BE PLAYING WITH OTHER PEOPLE?
Our games are private experiences. Your booking ensures a private game for you and your party.
3) ARE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED AND HOW DO I BOOK AN EXPERIENCE?
Reservations are highly recommended in order to guarantee your play time. You can book online by clicking here or call us at (407) 942-3002. Walk-Ins are welcome but the availability of the games is not guaranteed.
4) HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?
We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to make sure we can start the game on time.
WHAT IF I AM RUNNING LATE?
The clock will start running at the scheduled time, we are unable to start games past the start time. Call us (407) 942-3002 24 hours in advance to reschedule your game.
5) WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT?
We recommend players to be at least 10 years old to play, except for “What happened in Raven Woods” which is a scary game in which we recommend players to be at least 15 years old. Players 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult during the game.
We do not have the option to allow kids to play on their own, parents/guardian must be present in the game.

6) DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
Our games are non-refundable. You can call us (407) 942-3002 to reschedule your game for a different day/time IF done more than 24 hours before your booking start time.

Packed into a dingy, like mindless sardines, you and your friends set off for a day of fishing on Louisiana's mystical waters. As you push away, a dock hand shares a cheesy fish joke, and you embrace it as advice for your not-so-typical day of fun-filled recreation.
You cast your line, relax, and breathe in the swampy-sulfuric stench. It's time to unwind. As the day winds down, you let the marsh guide you back to the dock. The boat is engulfed in a swampy haze, and you drift into sleep. When you wake up, a devious swamp witch confronts you for trespassing into her territory. Your fate depends on facing the enchanted waters and defeating the swamp witch to escape Bloodshed Bayou.
Whether you're here against your will, an enthusiastic angler, or simply in charge of the gear, book a trip to witness the eccentric views of Louisiana's stunning wetlands. Just stay alert and avoid getting caught yourself.
Though this is NOT a horror experience, the general tone of the game is mildly suspenseful and eerie. For the safety of our guests, we ask that all participants wear close-toed shoes. If anyone in your party has sensitivity to semi-flashing lights or smells, please give us a call!

We love Escape Ventures and came over to checkout the Bloodshed Bayou room. It was awesome. The set was great and the story was cool. Our GM, Maria, was incredible. She was so enthusiastic and welcoming. She came in clutch with hints when we got stuck. Just all around a great experience. Can’t recommend it enough and definitely can’t wait to do another room here.

Maria was fantastic! She made the whole experience better! I bought an engagement ring and a pokeball with a Pokémon card inside that said: "will you be my player two". I called ahead to see if the person working would hide the items inside the last puzzle of the Bloody Bayou (great escape room, by the way). Maria was like "I got you, come tomorrow and we'll set it up". The next day she took the ring and card and hid them behind the last puzzle, a door that opens to reveal the items. She was quick to hide them, too. This place was great, but Maria made our whole experience better! Great personality, fun acting, and staying in character for the escape room. I would recommend this place to anyone! A lot of fun and the puzzles were very detailed in the escape room.

After what was truly an awful day, I made a phone call to the nearest escape room to my current location. Much to the befuddlement of our game master, we were allowed to hang out in their lobby to eat some sandwiches and wait for an opening to play a game. Originally we scheduled one game, but as the last players of the night, Peter offered to switch to whatever we pleased. We asked him which room he most wanted to show off, so we ended up deep in the Bayou! The set was beautiful, the puzzles were solid, and my partner and I ended up getting a much needed mood booster. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and if I ever end up back in the area I'll swing by to play the other games!

This place is so good it has probably spoiled me for other escape rooms. Not just a bunch of number codes but the rooms involves other senses. My first rooms involving smell and touch! The rooms also have cool authentic character and ambiance. We did The Bayou and went back 2 days later for The Genie.

Wow! My girls and I wanted to give a unique experience to my husband for his birthday. It was fun to work together finding the clues so we can escape. It was an amazing team-building experience.
